How to use this list

  • For an exam in October, first check the conducting body's latest notice/admit card because calendar dates can be revised.
  • Graduation eligibility does not automatically mean every graduate qualifies for every post; age, subject, percentage and professional qualifications may apply.
  • For PG candidates, check whether the recruitment specifically requires a master's degree or a particular PG subject.
  • For exams shown as 'not October', they are included only so the calendar does not misleadingly suggest that major national exams have been omitted.
Verification note: UPSC's official pages show the 2026 exam calendar and current examination status; SSC's official 2026–27 calendar provides its planned examination windows; NTA currently lists publication of its examination calendar through March 2027; and RRB notices state that candidates should rely on official RRB websites for schedules. IBPS's 2026–27 calendar gives PO/MT Main on 4 October and CSA/Clerk Prelims on 10–11 October, subject to its notices.

  CBS LINE Volume 3.9  Anti-profiteering refers to regulatory provisions that ensure consumers benefit from tax rate cuts through proportional price reductions. With the upcoming revisions in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates across various goods and services, the role of the Anti-Profiteering Committee becomes more crucial than ever. Established under the GST framework, the committee ensures that any reduction in tax rates or benefits of input tax credit is passed on to consumers in the form of commensurate price reductions. India has overhauled its GST structure, reducing the earlier four tax slabs (5%, 12%, 18%, 28%) into just two main rates—5% and 18% for most goods and services, while instituting a higher 40% rate for luxury items.
